Apparently, Commissioner Goodell is feeling the heat from irate players over fines that are being levied against them. Commissioner Goodell rescinded the fine on Jason Tuck after he saw the play in question.

Always good for a quote, Cowboys WR Terrell Owens was rather outspoken today when he talked about how the Cowboys lack confidence after losses the past few weeks to teams like the Redskins, Rams and Giants. At one point, the Cowboys were 4-1, and now at the bye week they sit at 5-4. “I think the loss to Washington made a lot of people raise a lot of eyebrows,” Owens said.

Considering how they started the first five weeks of the season, the Eagles are in tremendous position, two games above .500 with four winnable games outside of the division remaining, and two of their four NFC East games at home. They are relatively healthy, and are starting to come together and become the team so many folks expected them to be in the preseason. Getting the early lead and keeping the lead early will be a key to finishing this season strong
